Nexus Arc support
The essential checks for a reliable connect, scan, and import workflow.
Quick start
- Connect the iPhone with a USB data cable and unlock it.
- Approve the computer when the Trust prompt appears on the iPhone.
- Open Nexus Arc, choose the scan type, and wait for the summary.
- Review counts and selection, choose a destination with enough free space, and start the import.
If the iPhone doesn't appear
- Unlock the device and keep it awake while connecting.
- Check that the cable supports data transfer, not charging only.
- Accept the Trust prompt and enter the device passcode if requested.
- Try another USB port and avoid unpowered hubs.
- Check the Microsoft USB setup page offered by Nexus Arc, then scan again.
What to include with a request
Include your Windows version, iPhone model, iOS version, cable/port type, the exact step that fails, and the full error text. If you choose to share a report, inspect it first and remove personal data.
Local reports are normally stored in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Nexus Arc\Nexus_Data\log_report.
