FAQ

Why isn't my iPhone detected?

Unlock the iPhone, use a USB cable that supports data, reconnect it directly to the PC, and approve the Trust request on the device before scanning again.

What if the Trust request doesn't appear?

Keep the iPhone unlocked, disconnect and reconnect the cable, then check the device screen. The authorization must be accepted on the iPhone before Windows can expose the library.

Why can the scan count differ from the Photos app?

Live Photos, bursts, edited versions, and formats managed by iOS can be represented differently. If the difference is significant, keep the phone unlocked, reconnect it, and run a fresh scan.

Can I import only part of my library?

Yes. Choose an image, video, or complete-library scan, then use the available date range and import controls to narrow what moves.

What happens to HEIC and HEIF images?

Nexus converts supported HEIC and HEIF images to JPEG during import. The imported images are ready to open, edit, or print on Windows; the originals stay on your iPhone.

How are Live Photos and edited versions handled?

Nexus recognizes supported Live Photos, sequences, and edited versions so they can be brought over as part of the same library.

Where do imported files go?

You choose the destination and the available organization rules. The result is a collection of ordinary files in ordinary Windows folders.

What should I check before deleting originals?

Open the destination, verify the imported files and counts that matter to you, and keep an independent backup before removing anything from the iPhone.
