# Qt and PySide6 replacement information

Nexus Arc uses dynamically loaded Qt and PySide6 libraries from the community
PySide6 6.11.0 distribution under the LGPL version 3 option.

The Microsoft Store staging process removes Qt Virtual Keyboard because Nexus
does not use it and the community module is GPL-only.

Recipients may replace the LGPL-covered Qt/PySide6 dynamic libraries in an
unpacked local copy with compatible modified builds for their own use. Windows
requires a modified MSIX to be signed with a certificate trusted by the local
device before sideloading. This requirement is imposed by Windows package
integrity and does not restrict the LGPL rights applicable to the Qt libraries.

No proprietary Nexus Arc source code is needed to replace the separately loaded
